Following its reveal, Mortal Kombat 1 announces a Kameo Fighter system that adds partner characters that can be called upon to assist players. After weeks of teases by Mortal Kombat co-founder Ed Boon, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros Games finally revealed the next game in the long-running franchise. Mortal Kombat 1 is a reboot of the franchise as Fire God Liu Kang has essentially recreated the game’s universe, bringing about reimagined characters and other new features.
