Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has said that it hurts him badly the way his side fell to a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad on Wednesday.

Los Blancos were beaten 4-0 by the Cityzens in the second leg of their semi-final clash at the Etihad on Wednesday as Pep Guardiola’s side progressed to the final where they will play Inter Milan on June 10.

Manchester City dominated the La Liga giants with Bernardo Silva (2), Manuel Akanji, and Julian Alvarez on target.

Real Madrid could only have access to just seven shots and 40% of possession and the Italian gaffer acknowledged how his side were put to the sword by Pep Guardiola’s men.

“It’s a defeat that hurts a lot. There’s no other choice but to think about next season,” he said.

Los Merengues will now end the season with just the Copa del Rey to their name.
