Tension In Abuja As Kidnappers Kill Three Of 10 Victims, Increase Ransom To N700m

Residents of Sagwari Layout Estate Dutse in Abuja are living in fear as kidnappers, who abducted ten individuals from the area, have reportedly killed three of their victims.

The gunmen invaded the estate on January 7, using sophisticated weapons to carry out the abduction.

The assailants have allegedly increased their ransom demand from the initial N60 million per person to N100 million, totaling N700 million for the release of all victims.

The victims were purportedly killed due to delays in meeting the initial ransom demand.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was unavailable for comments at the time of reporting.
