MY GOD!! Fulani Herdsmen Invade Benue, Kill 12 People

No fewer than 12 persons have allegedly been killed by suspected herdsmen who invaded Tyuruv community of Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State.

DAILY POST gathered that the armed militia who were suspected to have cramped in Chito invaded Tse-Azande, Tse-Ajauka,Tse-Ugema and Tse-Guzo settlements in the early hours of Wednesday and shot sporadically.

An eye witness who confirmed the incident said some of the people fleeing their homes were shot to death at close range as others escaped with bullet wounds.

The invaders were also said to have set ablaze several houses within the community forcing displaced people to take shelter in nearby bushes.

Soldiers of Operation Whirl Stroke have been deployed to the community to restore normalcy.
