An early Transformers: Rise of the Beasts box office projection predicts that the upcoming sequel will have the best domestic opening for the franchise in almost 10 years. Directed by Steven Caple Jr., Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is the seventh film in the franchise overall, serving as a loose sequel to 2018’s Bumblebee and a prequel to 2007’s Transformers. The upcoming film is based on the popular “Beast Wars” spinoff, which introduces several new factions in the war between Autobots and Decepticons.
