Roger Moore had some thoughts about the killing of James Bond, but No Time To Die proved it could work. The Roger Moore era of Bond is completely at odds with modern spy thrillers. The majority of Moore’s 007 adventures were knowingly silly and camp and filled with outlandish gadgets, villains and double entendres. Many elements would be considered seriously non-PC to modern viewers also, but they may not have all aged gracefully, Moore himself was effortlessly charming and witty as the MI6 spy.
