1 Yellowjackets Theory Explains How The Cards Work

WARNING! Contains SPOILERS for Yellowjackets season 2, episode 8!A thought-provoking Yellowjackets theory suggests there’s more to Mari’s cards than presented so far. The cards are used to decide which chores the plane crash survivors have to do in their makeshift camp. For example, in season 2, episode 5, “Two Truths and a Lie,” Misty and Crystal were tasked with cleaning out the bucket the survivors use to go to the bathroom – an endeavor that ultimately lead to Crystal’s untimely death. Yellowjackets season 2, episode 8, however, also showcased that the cards have a more sinister function that involves the sacrificial cannibalism ritual.
