GEEZ!!!! Man Sentenced To Life Imprisonment For Stabbing Teenager To Death Over Girlfriend

A Kano State High Court sentenced 22-year-old Nura Sabiu to life imprisonment and 21-year-old Dahiru Ubale to five years imprisonment for the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old.

The court found them guilty of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide. Justice Usman Na’abba stated that the prosecution had successfully proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

The incident occurred on April 17, 2017, at Jalabi Village, Bunkure Local Government Kano, where the defendants attacked and fatally stabbed Abba Isma’il, accusing him of having a relationship with Sabiu’s girlfriend, Zahra’u.

The victim succumbed to injuries at Rano Hospital. The defendants had pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The prosecutor presented three witnesses, while the defense counsel, Mr Umar Danbaito, presented three witnesses, including the defendants.
