CAUGHT!! Two Labourers In Trouble With Court For Stealing 8 Cartoons Of Spaghetti

A Sharia Court in Kano State on Wednesday ordered that two labourers who allegedly stole eight cartons of pasta and N900,000 cash be remanded in a correction centre.

The police charged Sagir Nasiru, 37 and Abubakar, 32, both of whom live in Gobirawa Quarters in Dala Local Government Area, Kano with criminal conspiracy and theft.

They pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Judge, Malam Umar Lawal-Abubakar, adjourned the matter until April 22 for further mention.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp Abdullahi Wada, told the court that the case was reported on March 15, at the Fagge police station by Aminu Muhammed, the complainant who also lives at Gobirawa Quarters.

Wada said the defendants trespassed into the complainant’s shop and also stole one carton of macaroni, half a carton of Peak milk and one point-of-sale machine.
