Trump’s decision not to take part in the inaugural ceremony of Biden comes as a shock because a day ago he released a video of about three minutes conceding that Biden will come the President of the United States of America on the 20th of January.
He assured that his focus was to ensure a smooth transition of power.
This video came after a deadly riot erupted in the Capitol building which left a Capitol building Police officer and four other people dead.
Trump repeatedly claimed that the he won the election with a landslide and it was stolen by massive electoral fraud.
This caused a dent in the transition process after major news media projected that Joe Biden defeated Trump and the Electoral College declared Biden the winner.
Trump supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol Building with a plan to disrupt the proceedings by the Congress to confirm Biden as the winner of the election.
The supporters believed the narrative of Trump and their ill planned attack resulted in the death of five people.
Despite Trump saying he was focused to ensure a smooth transition, he has already tweeted he would not attend the inaugural ceremony which is disappointing.
Trump said on Twitter,
“To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.”
It seems this U.S. election circus by Donald Trump is not over.
