World War Z Remake Talks Teased After Scrapped David Fincher Sequel Movie

David Fincher’s planned World War Z sequel never got made, but the director now teases that there’s talk of revisiting the franchise in the form of a remake. Based on a book of the same name by Max Brooks, the Marc Forster movie stars Brad Pitt as U.N. employee Gerry Lane, who races around the world in an attempt to stop a zombie plague. World War Z was a box office hit, and a sequel had long been in the works with Fincher at one point attached to direct, but the movie never got made.
