What to Expect From Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s MW2/Warzone Reveal

Despite rumblings at the start of the year that 2023 would be the first break in a nearly two-decade-long tradition, Call of Duty is definitely getting a new entry this year, and it seems as though all the recent leaks are true. Over the last few months, renowned Call of Duty leakers have taken to the internet to spread a plethora of rumors, all pointing to 2023’s Call of Duty being Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, a direct continuation of last year’s Modern Warfare 2. And with both Sledgehammer Games—the studio allegedly working on the sequel—and Activision posting tongue-in-cheek teases, it does seem as though this year’s entry will in fact be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and a reveal might be right around the corner.
