Thunderbolts Director Teases "Deeper Understanding Of Who These Characters Are"

Thunderbolts director Jake Schreier teases that the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will allow for a deeper understanding of who its characters are. While a tight lid is being kept on story details, the line-up for the Thunderbolts team was revealed during D23 in 2022. The movie will follow a team of former villains and anti-heroes assembled by Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, who has already begun recruiting, with Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova and Wyatt Russell’s US Agent, aka John Walker, already working for her.
