The Talk To Me Prequel: Found Footage Style, Secret Filming & Everything We Know

When breakout 2023 horror Talk to Me arrived in theaters to resounding success there was instant speculation about a sequel — and while Talk 2 Me getting confirmed wasn’t a huge surprise, the fact that directors Danny and Michael Philippou have already filmed a secret Talk to Me prequel very much was. The first Talk to Me movie starred Sophie Wilde as Mia, a woman who communicated with the dead through an embalmed hand along with her friends, but she soon found the dead controlling her, including the spirit of her own mother. The premise hints at a wider mythology that the Philippou’s are keen to build on, starting with the Talk To Me prequel.
