The Frasier Reboot Mocks Cheers (& Revives A 32-Year-Old Tradition)

The Frasier reboot pilot follows its predecessor suit and revives an old tradition by mocking Cheers. Kelsey Grammer’s Frasier Crane is officially back on the small screen, but while he maintains many of his idiosyncrasies, there are some big changes in his life in the Paramount+ revival. For starters, he has just recently lost his dad, Martin Crane, and left his lofty job in Chicago. Some unexpected turn of events brings him back to Boston, where he has to rebuild his new life with a fresh social circle — even though this isn’t his first time living in the New England city.
