Starfield Lets You Build The Perfect Spaceship, But It Doesn’t Even Matter

Starfield gives players the opportunity to do an overwhelming amount of things, including making the perfect spaceship decked out with all the trappings of those found in some of the most iconic science fiction games, television, and movies. Unfortunately, building the perfect ship doesn’t even matter in the end. It is a shame because it hinders the game’s ability to compete with other media in the genre. What’s more disappointing about this, though, is that it is evidence of how Starfield’s massive scope holds back some of its features from becoming the truly unique things they have the potential to be.
