SO SAD!!!! Seven Critically Injured As Explosion Rocks Ogun State
The Ogijo area of Sagamu Local Government Area in Ogun State experienced a gas explosion on Sunday evening, leaving at least seven people critically injured.
The explosion affected the entire production line of a steel company, prompting the state government to order its immediate closure.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation, but the State Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Ola Oresanya, has pledged to determine the root cause.
Oresanya visited the scene for an on-the-spot assessment and ordered the closure of the iron rod manufacturing company.
During his visit, Oresanya emphasized the need for a thorough investigation to prevent future incidents. The injured victims were taken to a nearby hospital in Ikorodu, Lagos State, by the company’s management.
