Shadowheart Is Actually More Useful If She’s Dead In Baldur’s Gate 3

Shadowheart’s utility as the only cleric among the Baldur’s Gate 3 companion characters is hard to overstate, but she might be even more useful dead. Death is typically a minor inconvenience in Baldur’s Gate 3, with a Scroll of Revivify required to bring back any character that fails three Death Saving Throws after being downed. The bigger risk is a Total Party Kill, which will signal an immediate Game Over screen. The loss of Shadowheart’s life can be an easy trigger for a TPK, sacrificing the party’s main source of healing in most campaigns, but it can be worthwhile in very specific schemes.
