Police Parade Three Customers Over Death Drug Dealer In Gombe
The Gombe State Police Command has presented three murder suspects to the public, believed to be customers of a deceased drug dealer.
These individuals were part of a group paraded for various offenses within the state, as disclosed by Mahid Muazu Abubakar, the command’s spokesperson.
According to Abubakar, investigations unveiled that the three murder suspects engaged in a confrontation with the drug dealer, causing cuts to his back and head that led to his demise.
The incident, reported on February 12, 2024, was brought to light by Mustapha Mato from Deba town.
Mato reported that Dangunde Abba, Abdulsalam Shehu, and Abdulmalik Garba, residents of Anguwan East in Deba town, fought with Samaila Yusuf (the deceased), inflicting severe cuts on his back and head with a cutlass. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Yusuf succumbed to his injuries.
Detectives from the Deba Police Division initiated a thorough investigation, revealing that the deceased’s injuries stemmed from a dispute between him and his customers.
The Police Public Relations Officer emphasized that the case is currently under investigation, and the suspects will face charges in court upon the conclusion of the inquiry.
