Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Should ‘Copy’ One Gen 8 Success Story For Mythical Raids

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are over one year old now, and The Indigo Disk DLC is just a couple of weeks away from release. There is a lot that Gen 9 has done for the series’ present and possibly its future too, but it still lacks some key elements to truly make it stand out, and The Indigo Disk adding endgame activities could very well fix that, at least to some degree. There are many strong Pokemon in the Gen 9 Pokedex, including Paradox Pokemon and a handful of Legendaries or Hisuian forms, but many Mythicals are missing. If Gen 9 ends up adding ways of farming Mythicals, there’s one Gen 8 event it should take a closer look at to try and repeat its success.
