One Line In A New Hope Explains Why Star Wars Rebels Killed The Inquisitors (So Why’s One In Ahsoka?)

A key line in A New Hope justified why the Inquisitors were all killed off in Star Wars Rebels – but confusingly, one still remains alive in Ahsoka. Initially introduced as just “the Inquisitor,” the Grand Inquisitor served as the first main antagonist for Jedi Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger as they worked to ignite the spark of rebellion across the galaxy. Following the villains demise, several more were brought into the series and subsequently killed off, bringing what seemed to be the end of the Inquisitorius in the Star Wars timeline.
