New Comedy Movie Proves The Bear Season 3 Can Still Save Its Most Divisive Character

The Bear season 3 already has a major character problem to address with Carmy’s love interest Claire, but Molly Gordon’s new comedy movie proves this solution may not be so difficult to find. With the exception of The Bear season 2’s many cameos by members of the Berzatto family tree, chefs from Carmy’s past, and some real-life Chicago chefs, the series’ sophomore outing only introduces one major new character to its restaurant-based ensemble: Claire, played by actress Molly Gordon. Claire joined The Bear season 2 as an old flame of Carmy Berzatto, but the reception to her character and arc wasn’t as warm as expected.
