As promising as Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender may seem, it will likely struggle to replicate One Piece‘s live-action acclaim and commercial success. Since Netflix’s take on Avatar: The Last Airbender is not the first live-action adaption of the original animated series, it is natural for audiences to be a little skeptical about how it will turn out, given how the first adaptation, M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender movie, was utterly disappointing.
