Mortal Kombat: Onslaught’s Launch Game Modes Explained

Mortal Kombat: Onslaught trades in the franchise’s fighting genre boots to become a real-time squad-based collection RPG, which is an exciting new way to engage with the franchise since its inception in the ’90s. Players will still be treated to gruesome Mortal Kombat fatalities, engage with all the characters they love, and fight to the death, but instead of doing so one-on-one as per usual, players will have a whole squad to manage, special moves to use, strategies to implement, and so forth. With the mobile game launching on October 17, players who dive in are treated to four game modes for launch.
