Man Remanded For Alleged Robbery, Cultism In Lagos (DETAILS)
Suleimon Lawal has been arraigned in an Ikeja High Court for allegedly using an iron chair to rob Ms Karimat Olugowora of an iPhone XR worth N180,000 on Oct. 5, 2022, at Jetty Waterside, Bayeku, Ikorodu.
Lawal faces charges of armed robbery and unlawful association, with a plea of not guilty.
The prosecution, Mrs B. Ojukutu-Shobande, revealed Lawal’s alleged involvement in the Aiye confraternity on Sept. 5, 2022.
The charges violate the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015, and the Unlawful Society and Cultism (Prohibition) Law of Lagos State, 2021.
Justice Adenike Coker remanded Lawal and scheduled the trial for Feb. 12.
