Justin Roiland’s Rick & Morty season 7 voice actor replacements will be kept a secret until the show’s premiere. A co-creator of Adult Swim’s hugely popular sci-fi animated hit, Roiland was fired from his duties on the show early in 2023 after facing sexual misconduct allegations (criminal charges were later dropped). The move left the series’ future very much in doubt, as the fired co-creator was also responsible for voicing multiple characters, including the two leads. It was later revealed that the show would replace their out-going main voice actor with soundalikes, creating a new sense of anticipation – and worry – around season 7.
