JUST IN – Rescue Operation Ongoing At Ibadan Explosion Site
Security agencies and additional teams have initiated rescue operations at the site of Tuesday night’s explosion in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The explosion occurred at a building in Dejo Oyelese close, Bodija Housing Estate.
Sniffer dogs detected a person at the scene, leading to their evacuation to a hospital for attention.
The teams involved include Red Cross, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Amotekun operatives, Department of State Services, and Oyo State Emergency Management Agency.
The rescue operation is currently underway.
