JUST IN – Court Jails Seven Internet Fraudsters In Ogun, Oyo
Seven internet fraudsters have been sentenced to various jail terms in Oyo and Ogun states, according to reports from the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The convicts, including Adio Peter Olakunle, Adebanjo Oluwafemi Samuel, Ezekiel Papi Kolawole, Lukman Olakunle Alabi, Sakiru Olamilekan Usman, Godwin Moses Abaka, and Amosu Oladele Gbenon, were arraigned before different justices in the respective states.
They were charged with one-count separate charge each and were ordered by the courts to restitute their victims and forfeit recovered items to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Head of Media and Publicity of EFCC, Dele Oyewale, stated that the convicts were arrested by EFCC operatives for internet-related offenses and subsequently investigated, prosecuted, and convicted.
