With the franchise’s first spinoff The Continental recently having aired, director Chad Stahelski shares new insight for the new John Wick TV show in the works. The franchise’s director first revealed the show was in the works in May 2023, keeping the majority of its details under wraps, save for the confirmation that it will not center on Keanu Reeves’ iconic assassin, nor will he feature in the story. With The Continental exploring the origins of the titular underworld hotel and the upcoming Ballerina focusing on the Russian-based assassin, theories have swirled over which characters the new show would focus on.
