Jamie Lee Curtis Will Lobby For Live-Action One Piece Season 2 Role (On One Condition)
Jamie Lee Curtis confirms she will lobby for the role of Doctor Kureha in Netflix’s live-action One Piece show, but her commitment comes with a condition. Well before One Piece premiered on Netflix on August 31, fans of the franchise have been campaigning for Curtis to portray Kureha. In the anime and manga, Kureha is an elderly doctor who is young at heart and viewed as a witch by some. Many believe that Curtis’ look and personality fit Kureha perfectly. Now, Curtis is responding to fans’ demands that she be cast in the One Piece season 2 role.
