Is Laurent The Walking Dead’s Messiah & His True Superpower Finally Answered

Daryl Dixon drags the mystery of Laurent’s powers across the entirety of its debut season, but the spinoff’s finale episode, “Coming Home,” addresses every burning question – more or less – about this intriguing new The Walking Dead character. Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead universe functions on a mostly realistic level, zombies aside. Daryl Dixon episode 1 tossed that rule aside by introducing Louis Puech Scigliuzzi as Laurent – a boy raised by nuns and worshiped as a messiah by a group known as the Union of Hope. Stranger still, the spinoff’s series premiere asserted that Laurent harbored a special gift to predict the future, and had foreseen Daryl Dixon arriving in France.
