IO’s 007 Bond Game Couldn’t Be Coming at a Better Time

Known for its seminal Hitman games, it’s now going to be exciting to see how IO Interactive adapts those formulas and mechanics into a story-driven 007 game. There’s arguably no better developer to handle James Bond as a skilled secret agent whose techniques lean heavily into assassinations and espionage, though there is obviously a lot that IO will need to reevaluate to cater to the unique 007 experience, such as the potential for engaging close-quarters combat.
