Indiana Jones 5’s Alternate Ending Detailed By Director Following The Wild Final Act
The article contains major spoilers for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. With Indiana Jones and the Dial Of Destiny now in theaters, director James Mangold is sharing new details on the movie’s alternate ending. As Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) wonders on his last adventure, the daring archaeologist must find a legendary dial with his goddaughter before it gets into the hands of a former Nazi-turned-NASA scientist Jürgen Voller. The final act reveals Voller’s ploy to use the dial to travel to 1939 and kill Hitler, hoping a more competent leader took over and clinch Germany’s victory during the war. However, Voller’s (Mads Mikkelsen) scheme messes up, where instead of traveling to Nazi Germany, they jumped to the Siege of Syracuse in 212 BC.
