I Regret Voting For Tinubu, APC – Retired Civil Servant Laments

A retired Nigerian civil servant, Kehinde John has revealed that he regretted voting for the current president, Bola Asiwaju Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election.

In a street interview, John, a Yoruba native, disclosed that he initially believed Tinubu would bring about positive change in Nigeria. However, the country has been experiencing a crisis since Tinubu’s election seven months ago.

According to him, he voted for the president to alleviate poverty, peace and tranquility but to his disappointment, the country is not improving.

The retired worker, who is earning N75k as pensioner, says,

“I’m not happy with my president, I regret for voting for my president and for voting for APC because this is not what we voted for”.

“We did not voted for suffering, we voted for peace, tranquility and to alleviate poverty. Let me tell you, if Tinubu instead of giving it out to private sector that are already belle full. They are going to share the money”.

“For the past seven months, we voted for Tinubu, Emilokan, I am a Yoruba man, I regret voting for him because this is not we bargain for”.

“Let called a spade a spade. This government is not doing well”.
