How Ahsoka Can Set Up Star Wars’ NEXT Disney Plus TV Show

One character in Ahsoka may prove to be the perfect link to Disney+’s next Star Wars show. Ahsoka will not only function as a continuation of The Mandalorian, but also, and perhaps more importantly, serve as a sequel to the animated series Star Wars Rebels. Plenty of Rebels characters will be making their live-action debuts in Ahsoka, including rebel pilot Hera Syndulla, the Mandalorian Sabine Wren, the young Jedi Ezra Bridger, and Imperial villain Grand Admiral Thrawn. There is, however, one Rebels character who has been suspiciously absent from Ahsoka’s promotional material, one who could become much more important to Star Wars canon than previously believed.
