“He Has No Surety Yet” – Portable Remains In Police Custody As He Fails To Meet Bail Conditions
Controversial street pop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has reportedly failed to meet his bail conditions hours after being arrested.
It would be recalled that on Tuesday, May 14, officers of the Nigerian police force arrested the ‘Tony Montana’ crooner for allegedly refusing to pay the N14 million debt he owed when he bought a G-Wagon from a car dealer in Lagos State.
Lagos State Police Command spokesman, Benjamin Hudenyin, said Portable was unable to provide a surety so he will remain in custody pending when he’s able to provide one.
He said:
“He has presented no reliable surety yet so he (Portable) is still with us.”
