Haunted Mansion Crosses Major Box Office Milestone (But It’s Still A Flop)

Haunted Mansion has passed a huge box office milestone, but it’s too little too late. The movie, which is the second time the Disney theme park attraction of the same name has been dramatized onscreen after the 2003 Eddie Murphy vehicle The Haunted Mansion, premiered in theaters on July 28. It follows widowed doctor Gabbie (Rosario Dawson) and her son Travis (Chase W. Dillon), who move into the luxurious Gracey Manor to convert it into a bed and breakfast, but quickly discover that it’s haunted.
