Gunmen Invade Army Barracks In Kurudu, Kidnap Popular Businesswoman
On Thursday night, gunmen invaded the Hilltop Phase 2 Extension of the Nigerian Army Post-Housing Estate, kidnapping a well-known businesswoman.
The heavily armed assailants reportedly arrived around 9 pm, firing shots to intimidate residents.
Despite the presence of soldiers in the estate, the kidnappers managed to abduct the woman and escape through the hillside.
According to a source, the kidnappers had initially targeted the victim’s husband but were unsuccessful in locating him.
The woman was taken as she entered her compound, with her son raising an alarm while the kidnappers fired shots.
Soldiers have been deployed to trace the kidnappers, and the incident was captured on CCTV in the victim’s house.
