Futurama Season 11’s New Fry & Leela Change Finally Ends Original 14-Year Subplot
Futurama season 11 just made one of the biggest changes to Fry and Leela’s relationship in the show’s history, finally putting an end to the original 14-year subplot. Fry and Leela’s relationship has been one of the biggest elements of Futurama since the very beginning, with Fry’s desire to be with Leela being at the center of many of the show’s biggest storylines. While this relationship has been a driving force for eleven seasons of storytelling, it seems as if things are finally changing, as Futurama season 11, episode 5, “Related to Items You’ve Viewed” has drastically altered Futurama‘s Fry and Leela status quo.
