Fast & Furious 11 Can’t Continue The Franchise’s Ridiculous Death Retcon Trend

The Fast and Furious franchise’s ridiculous, over-the top nature makes it so fun, but Fast and Furious 11 can’t continue to retcon deaths. A big part of what makes the movie series so successful is it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Its focus on explosive action and big moments draws audiences to see movie after movie without worrying too much about the story’s logic. Despite this, there have to be some parts of the franchise that are realistic to avoid losing interest. Killing characters off only to bring them back a few movies later not only lacks realism but also damages the franchise.
