Exploding Kittens Trailer: Lucifer’s Tom Ellis Is God In A Cat’s Body In Animated Tabletop Adaptation

A modern iconic tabletop card game is getting a wild animated adaptation in the first Exploding Kittens trailer. Designed and created by The Oatmeal‘s Matthew Inman and Elan Lee & Shane Small, the card game has players trying to clear their hand of as many humorous cards as possible without getting an Exploding Kitten card, or use their sole Defuse card to stay in the game. Development on an animated show adaptation was first announced in early 2022 with King of the Hill duo Mike Judge and Greg Daniels executive producing.
