Ahsoka season 1 is now streaming in its entirety on Disney+, and one of the things the show will be remembered for is its expert use of lightsabers—and the sheer number of them. Most of the main characters wielded a lightsaber of some kind during Ahsoka, but it was never overwhelming or unnatural. In a franchise that has recently shied away from the mysticism of the Jedi and Force-wielding, that side of Star Wars was fully embraced by Ahsoka’s writer and creator Dave Filoni.
