Even The Star Of Doctor Who’s Worst Modern Episode Thinks It’s Terrible

The Doctor Who episode “Love & Monsters” is considered the worst installment of the show’s modern era, and the fans aren’t the only ones who don’t like it. Starring Marc Warren and Peter Kay, season 2’s “Love & Monsters” is a Doctor-lite episode that tells a story from the point of view of a group of bystanders. Warren’s character, Elton Pope, is obsessed with the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler and is keen to find out as much about them as possible. Aside from Elton’s brief encounter with the characters, the Doctor and Rose barely feature in this episode, which is a break from the usual Doctor Who format.
