Even Across The Spider-Verse Director’s Family Had Big Complaints About The Ending

The ending of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was unexpectedly abrupt, and director Kemp Powers said even his family complained about the film’s closing minutes. The second chapter of Into the Spider-Verse ends with a massive cliffhanger, setting up the third chapter for Marvel‘s Miles Morales. While trying to find his way home, Morales finds himself in the wrong universe. In this world, there is no Spider-Man, and Miles has become this universe’s Prowler. Miles is being held captive by his alternate version and finds himself face-to-face with him before the film cuts to the credits.
