Mega-City One is the main location for the Judge Dredd series of British comic books as well as the films Judge Dredd (1995) and Dredd (2012). Mega-City One is to Judge Dredd as Gotham City is to Batman, and it’s controlled by a harsh system of law and order maintained by the Judges, keepers of the peace who can also serve as judge, jury, and executioner for all criminal activity.
