“Don’t Leave Boxing” – Joshua Encourages Francis Ngannou Following Knockout Loss (VIDEO)
British Nigerian boxing champion, Anthony Joshua has urged his Cameroonian counterpart, Francis Ngannou not to leave boxing after Friday’s loss.
Naijaloaded recalls that the Cameroonian boxer, made his boxing debut last October, against Tyson Fury, losing in a split decision by the judges.
However, in his second professional fight with Anthony Joshua, held at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia, Ngannou was knocked out in second round with Joshua emerging victorious.
Ngannou later got to his feet, embraced Joshua who told him not to leave boxing because he still has a big career ahead of him.
He said:
“You are an inspiration. You will beat a lot of people. Don’t leave boxing. Don’t leave boxing. If you need anything, let me know, but we will speak another time.”
