One of the biggest bugs in the history of Destiny 2 not only got to see players craft some of the wackiest weapons possible, but it also saw a notable spike in players looking to get in on the chaos before the weekend was over. The weekend, which players have been affectionately calling “funny gun weekend,” has seen comparisons to the Lord of Wolves and Prometheus Lens weekends, which saw the game’s PvP turn upside down due to the state of two exotic weapons, and how this latest bug seemingly puts those to shame. While Bungie is starting to take steps to rectify the bug, the spike in players shows just how appealing the chaos was to many looking for a reason to hop back into the game.
