Destiny 2’s First Release After The Final Shape Seemingly Makes Good on a Promise Bungie Made

Destiny 2‘s Light and Darkness saga is coming to an end with The Final Shape expansion in February of next year, wrapping up almost ten years of stories and character arcs all tied to the fight for humanity and against The Witness. The finale is bound to be epic in some shape or form, and Cayde-6’s return might just be the testament to this so that players can see the story through while standing by the side of those who were lost along the way. Destiny 2‘s The Final Shape will be an end as much as it will be a new beginning, and the first release immediately after it is slated to make good on a promise Bungie made in the last few months.
