Daryl & Carol Reunite At The Nest In Emotional The Walking Dead Spinoff Art

Daryl and Carol have an emotional reunion at The Nest in new art inspired by the spinoff show The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. Melissa McBride was originally announced not to be joining Norman Reedus in the TWD universe spinoff centered on fan-favorite Daryl Dixon, due to McBride wanting to take a break. Evidence later emerged however that McBride would in fact reprise the role of Carol on the popular show, and the recently-aired episode “Deux Amours” did tease a Carol return with a brief voice-only cameo from McBride. Now it has been confirmed that Reedus and McBride will team up anew in future episodes of the popular spinoff, which has been retitled to The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol for season 2 to reflect the character’s return.
