Cillian Murphy’s Interstellar Casting Would’ve Changed Nolan’s Movie (For The Worse)

Cillian Murphy wishes he starred in Interstellar as part of his collaborations with Christopher Nolan, but the Oppenheimer star would have totally changed the movie. Nolan is known for working with the same actors repeatedly, using the likes of Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Caine, and others in multiple movies. Cillian Murphy is another of the director’s most frequent collaborators, thanks to their work in the Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, and Dunkirk. The duo has since gone on to make Oppenheimer with Murphy in the lead role of J. Robert Oppenheimer, but the actor has revealed that Interstellar is the movie he wished he was in.
